How ratings work

There are two separate things on this site, and they are deliberately never merged.

The star rating is a community review. Holders of the Delivery Guy token connect a wallet and post a rating from one to five stars, with a written review, recorded in a contract on Base. One wallet, one review per project, and you can change yours later. The contract itself checks that you hold enough tokens before it will accept a review, so the requirement is enforced on chain rather than by this page.

A project nobody has reviewed reads No reviews yet. It does not get a zero, because nobody gave it one. Ratings are opinions from people holding a meme coin. Read the reviews, not just the average.

Prime Verified is the badge, and it is the only thing here that claims someone checked. Five checks: liquidity locked, contract renounced, audited, team identified, community backed. Each is set by hand with evidence recorded. A check nobody performed reads not verified, never counts as a pass, and is never hidden. The badge needs all five, and no amount of five star reviews can earn it.

Reviews live on chain and cannot be deleted by anyone, including us. Prime can only stop displaying one. Anything hidden is listed publicly in data/hidden.json so the moderation is auditable.

What the token requirement does not do. Holding tokens makes a review cost something, which deters casual spam. It does not make ratings impossible to game. Someone can borrow the tokens, review, and repay in a single transaction, or move the same tokens between wallets and review repeatedly. Blocking that would mean rejecting smart contract wallets, which would exclude a lot of real people on Base. So the requirement raises the cost of a fake rating rather than preventing one. Read the reviews and judge them, and treat any average with a handful of votes as what it is.
